Library
Promotes the Sachse Public Library through fund raising activities
and assists in providing volunteers for general library functions.

Sachse Chamber of Commerce
Hosts a noon luncheon on the second Tuesday of each month. The
Chamber office is located in the little Red Caboose at 5941

Sachse Historical Society
Organized to preserve and promote Sachse’s history.

Sachse Seniors
Is an active group for those over 55, married or single. Meetings
are on the third Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Sachse
Senior Center. Group exercise sessions are at the Library every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. Social activities include
trips to musicals, plays, symphonies, rodeos, luncheons, dinners
and more. A large, city-owned van provides transportation to
activities, including weekly grocery shopping trips and doctor
visits. Senior Center is located at the corner of Sachse Road and
Bryan Street beside the Sachse Library.

school. Meetings are called as required.

Youth Baseball & Softball Program
The Sachse Baseball and Softball Association is part of the
P.O.N.Y. Baseball organization. Players age five and over may
participate. Player registration takes place in mid-January. Teams
form in early February and opening day is in early April. Opening
day festivities include a parade, team introductions, and opening
day games. The season ends in mid-June with the selection of All
Star teams that will compete in post season
tournaments. Success in theses tournaments could lead to the
P.O.N.Y. World Series for baseball only. For more information

Sachse Pet Pals
An organization of volunteers working with the City of Sachse to
improve the existing Municipal Animal Shelter, assist with
Adopt-A-Pet programs and provide information to citizens to help
them become more responsible pet owners.
