Land Use:
The city of Sachse has developed a land use program
that can be viewed at the City Hall. This plan serves as a
blueprint to assist the City's leadership in planning for the
future and understanding the impact potential growth can produce.
Acreage:
The City of Sachse covers 7,140
acres of land, which is equivalent of 11 square miles. The largest
land use category is dedicated to residential zoning. This makes
up 4,380 acres or 61% of the total. All office, retail and
commercial categories comprise 388 acres or 5% of the total.
Industrial property available in Sachse consists of 673 acres or
9% of the total acres. The balance is either public land, flood
plains or park land.
Maps:
Maps of residential, commercial and industrial
tracts are available. These maps indicate the location and size of
all utilities on the tracts, location of major streets and
thoroughfares. Please call 972-675-1633 for further information
